Series Title: Mission In Motion: How We Go

This past Sunday, our sermon was titled  “Living Proof” from Acts 9:19-22.

This week’s message highlighted Paul’s radical transformation from persecutor to preacher after encountering Jesus on the road to Damascus. His story reminds us that true faith begins with a personal encounter with Christ, and grows through obedience, turning belief into action. Whether our testimonies are dramatic or quiet, every changed life is a powerful witness.

The challenge? Live in a way that proves Jesus has changed you. Paul’s bold preaching flowed from his transformed life, and our daily choices—how we love, serve, and endure—should do the same. Faith isn’t just what we say, it’s how we live. Are you showing the world the difference Christ makes? Let’s be living proof of His grace.

👉 Looking Ahead:
This Sunday, we’ll continue our journey through Acts with a message  from Acts 10, looking at the encounter Peter has with Cornelius.  The encounter with Cornelius reminds us the Gospel is for everyone, and our call is to welcome people into God’s family.

This Sunday night is Ice Cream Night for evening service. Bring your favorite Ice Cream, homemade or bought to share. If ice cream is not your thing bring your favorite dessert to share!

June 29 @10am on the Square
On June 29, we’re joining believers from other local churches for a special outdoor worship gathering on the square! Instead of our regular service at FCC, we’ll come together as one body to praise God Bring a chair or blanket to sit on!

Back To School Event
July 19  @9 -11 am

Join us for Love West Salem’s Back to School Event on Saturday, July 19th, from 9 AM–11 AM! We’re helping kids in our community prepare for the school year with free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and donuts. Stop by the church lobby to sign up to help at the event.

Love West Salem Back To School Event

Mark your calendars for our Back to School Outreach on July 19th! This is a wonderful opportunity to serve local families by providing backpacks filled with school supplies—a practical way to show God’s love to our community. You can help in two ways:

1️⃣ Serve at the event – See the sign up sheets in the church lobby.
2️⃣ Sponsor a backpack – Grab a form in the church lobby to donate and fill a backpack for a child in need.

Every child will be prayed over before they leave, making this more than just a giveaway—it’s a chance to share hope and Jesus’ love. Let’s make an impact together!
