Series Title: Mission In Motion: How We Go

This past Sunday, our sermon was titled  “Jesus Is For Everyone” from Acts 10.

This week’s message from Acts 10 showed us how God challenged Peter’s assumptions by sending him to Cornelius, a Gentile who needed Christ. What seemed unthinkable to Peter was actually God’s plan all along: the Good News is for all people!

The question for us is simple: Who might God be calling us to share Jesus with? Maybe it’s someone with different beliefs, a complicated past, or a lifestyle we don’t understand. This week, let’s step beyond our comfort zones, not to approve of everything, but to offer what everyone truly needs: Jesus. A kind conversation, an invitation, or simply refusing to write someone off could be the start of their encounter with Christ. Everyone needs Jesus and we are to share Jesus!

Join us next Sunday, June 29 at 10am for Worship in the Park! We’ll celebrate with uplifting music, share Communion together, and hear a message from God’s word. Bring a chair or blanket, and don’t forget to invite a friend! See you there.

Community Worship Service
June 29 @10am on the Square
On June 29, we’re joining believers from other local churches for a special outdoor worship gathering on the square! Instead of our regular service at FCC, we’ll come together as one body to praise God Bring a chair or blanket to sit on!

If you want your offering to go to FCC please place it in an envelope with FCC wrote on the outside. There will also be a love offering taken up for the music group.

Back To School Event
July 19  @9 -11 am

Join us for Love West Salem’s Back to School Event on Saturday, July 19th, from 9 AM–11 AM! We’re helping kids in our community prepare for the school year with free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and donuts. Stop by the church lobby to sign up to help at the event.

Love West Salem Back To School Event

Mark your calendars for our Back to School Outreach on July 19th! This is a wonderful opportunity to serve local families by providing backpacks filled with school supplies—a practical way to show God’s love to our community. You can help in two ways:

1️⃣ Serve at the event – See the sign up sheets in the church lobby.
2️⃣ Sponsor a backpack – Grab a form in the church lobby to donate and fill a backpack for a child in need.

Every child will be prayed over before they leave, making this more than just a giveaway—it’s a chance to share hope and Jesus’ love. Let’s make an impact together!
