đź“–Sunday Recap

This week we kicked off our new series, Made for Worship, by asking a foundational question: What is worship? Drawing from John 4:19–26, we saw that worship isn’t about a place, a style, or a schedule, it’s about a heart shaped by truth and stirred by the Spirit. Jesus’ conversation with the woman at the well shattered long-held assumptions about worship and pointed to a new reality: worship is not confined to temples or traditions, but is the response of a transformed heart to the revelation of who God is. Worship is not about going through the motions or checking boxes, it’s about knowing God and responding to His worth with reverence and awe.

As you go about your week, ask yourself: Am I truly worshiping God in spirit and truth, or just showing up to religious routines? Let your daily choices, conversations, and even your quiet moments reflect a heart that has seen Jesus clearly. Choose to worship Him not just with your lips, but with your life, moment by moment, wherever you are.

🤝 Serve With Us

Looking for ways to get involved:

Rooted After School Program
Rooted is right around the corner. There are many ways to help – school pick up, playground supervisor, homework assistant, activity leader, and more! Volunteers can assist weekly, monthly, or on an as-needed basis. We also need help providing snacks for our Rooted students. To volunteer at Rooted or provide snacks, please send Ms. Ryan a message or sign up at the sign-up station in the church lobby.

Supply Help
It is time to restock our ministry supplies for Sunday School, Rooted, and Thrive. We would love your help. Having these supplies on hand makes it easier for our leaders to gather their supplies and spend time focusing on sharing the love of Christ. Visit the link below to see what we need!
