đź“–Sunday Recap

This past Sunday we answered the question, How do we worship? We turned to Romans 12:1–2 for a powerful answer. Worship, Paul says, is not just something we do, but something we offer. It’s not limited to music, posture, or style. True and proper worship is offering our whole selves—mind, body, and spirit, as a living sacrifice to God.

We worship by remembering God’s mercies, refusing to conform to the world, and being transformed by the renewing of our minds. God isn’t looking for performance; He desires obedience, surrender, and a life shaped by grace. Outward expressions like singing, serving, and giving are meaningful only when they flow from a heart fully devoted to Him.

In light of God’s mercy, offer Him everything. Examine your heart, what are you holding back? Where have you allowed the world to shape your thinking or desires? Don’t just attend worship; become a worshiper. This week, choose surrender over comfort, transformation over conformity, and devotion over distraction. That’s how we worship in spirit and in truth.

🤝 Serve With Us

Looking for ways to get involved:

Rooted After School Program
Rooted is right around the corner. There are many ways to help – school pick up, playground supervisor, homework assistant, activity leader, and more! Volunteers can assist weekly, monthly, or on an as-needed basis. We also need help providing snacks for our Rooted students. To volunteer at Rooted or provide snacks, please send Ms. Ryan a message or sign up at the sign-up station in the church lobby.

Supply Help
It is time to restock our ministry supplies for Sunday School, Rooted, and Thrive. We would love your help. Having these supplies on hand makes it easier for our leaders to gather their supplies and spend time focusing on sharing the love of Christ. Visit the link below to see what we need!
