đź“–Sunday Recap
Thank you all so much for the kind words, cards, and notes of encouragement for Pastor Appreciation Month. They truly mean a lot to me, I keep every single one, and they always bring encouragement when I need it most. It’s been a wonderful eight years serving alongside you all, and I’m grateful and excited to step into year nine together. A big thank you as well to everyone who brought food and stayed for the meal, it was a great time of fellowship!
Yesterday, we had the privilege of hearing from Brady Hall with the Oblong Children’s Christian Home. He shared an encouraging update on their ministry and used James 1:27 from God’s Word to remind us to live for Christ. He reminded us to live for Christ in how we care for others and how we must strive to remain unstained by the world. It was a powerful reminder that our faith is not just something we believe, but something we live out daily.
As we move through this week, let’s strive to live out our faith in both word and action. Whether it’s showing kindness, offering help, or simply choosing to live differently from the world around us, every small act can make a lasting difference. Let’s continue to be a church that not only gathers to worship but also goes out to love and serve in Jesus’ name.

Fall Festival
Saturday, October 18thÂ
Join us for our Fall Festival on Saturday, October 18th from 3–6 p.m. at the West Salem Square! This free family event will have something for everyone; bounce house, pumpkin painting, hayrides, a petting zoo, and plenty of chili to enjoy. It’s a great way to celebrate the season together, and we’d love for you to bring your family and friends.
Fall Community Worship Service
Sunday, October 19th @10am
After hearing so many people say, “Why don’t we do more of these?” following our summer community service, we’re excited to host a Fall Community Worship Service! Join us on Sunday, October 19th at 10 a.m., the morning after Fall Fest. Seth Schnautz will be sharing the message, and we’d love for you to come worship with us.
Church Directory Photos
Sunday November 16 & Wednesday October 19thÂ
We’re updating our church directory, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Directory photos will be taken Sunday, November 16 (10:15 AM–8:00 PM) and Wednesday, November 19 (5:00 PM–8:00 PM) here at the church.
Each session takes about 10 minutes—quick, easy, and with no sales pitch—just a chance to have your photo included in our updated directory. A church directory helps us stay connected, put faces with names, and strengthen our sense of family within the church.
Sign up at the church to reserve your time slot!
