đSunday Recap
Series Title: Mission In Motion: How We Go
This past Sunday, our sermon was titled âTeach The Wayâ from Acts 8:26-40.
The early church in Acts shows that evangelism isnât just bold preachingâitâs patient teaching. Philipâs encounter with the Ethiopian eunuch illustrates this perfectly. The eunuch had Scripture but needed someone to explain it. Philip met him where he was, guided him to Jesus, and baptized him immediately when his heart responded.
Our mission is the same today. People around us are searching, and God calls us to walk with them, explain the gospel, and help them take their next steps. Whether through a spontaneous conversation or intentional discipleship, we must be ready to teach, guide, and celebrate when someone comes to faith. Who can you help understand Jesus this week? The gospel spreads when we take time to teach the way.
đ Looking Ahead:
This Sunday, weâll continue our journey through Acts with a message from Acts 9:1-22. Weâll see how God radically transformed Saul, a violent persecutor of Christians into Paul, the boldest missionary of the early church. His story proves that no one is beyond redemption, and our past struggles can become powerful testimonies of Godâs grace
đ Happening This Week
Sunday
- 9:00am – Worship
- 10:20am – Sunday School
- 6:00pm – NO Evening Service
Sunday Night Services – 6pm
This summer at FCC, Sunday nights at 6pm are all about Ekklesia, Being the Church Together, a time to grow deeper in faith and community. This week is a teaching night, and itâs a great opportunity to devote ourselves to the Bible’s teaching. Letâs move beyond just hearing the Word once a week, letâs obey it, engage with it daily, and commit to being present when itâs taught. The early church gathered often, and we want to follow that example. If you’re hungry to grow, Sunday nights are a great place to start.
